snow days are the best days
Last week Indianapolis received almost a foot of snow overnight. It was the first significant snow we received this winter. More snow in one night than the monthly average for January. We were lucky though. To the south of us, the storm came through with freezing rain through Kentucky. Four days after the storm, some areas of Kentucky are still without power, and could be without power for even a couple more days. For us, the storm gave us a snow day in the middle of the work week, no school for the kids, remote work from home for me by laptop. Once they got our street plowed, about 3 in the afternoon, we headed out to take advantage of the fresh snow.
