A couple of weekends ago I had the urge to go out shooting some long exposures, but didn’t want to drive around in the country looking for dark areas to shoot star trails. So I headed downtown and spent a couple of hours wandering around White River State Park and the downtown canal shooting things. It’s the first time I’ve been down there late at night, and it has a completely different atmosphere after dark. In particular the lighting in that area works really well for ambient light long exposure photography.
I’ll be heading out again after dark sometime…
