We went to the Rib Fest here in Indianapolis earlier tonight, and watched Buddy Guy tear out an outstanding set. He may sing “Done got old” on his latest album, but he’s still got it. How good was he? He might have converted Misty into a blues fan.
Half way through his set, he got down and did a walkabout through the audience, tearing out music the whole time. Tammie got a shot of him with her cell phone, because I’m too technologically challenged to figure out how to use the camera on her phone.
Even though the website for the Rib Fest said that no “professional level” cameras were allowed, I saw quite a few big lenses on DSLR’s (including one in the background of this shot). Next year I’ll have to take my camera and plead ignorance if they complain.
Of course as I’m writing this we’re watching Crossroads
